Trump also said if he were elected he would end the war in 24 hours. Putin shows no sign of wanting to end the war. He’s laughing at Trump and the EU tying themselves in knots for to create a deal that Putin likely has no intent to sign on to. It’s a distraction as he continues to murder civilians.

If I was POTUS & a mass serial pedo rapist & traitor to my country, and I wanted to deflect attn, prosecution, & consequences away from that (Especially if I was close to "Old rich white guy can't do time, just put him in 5 star resort" time out" age) I'd just start a foreign war & goad a civil one.
