my boyfriend finally trusted me enough to trim his hair. ive been trimming my own hair for a couple of years, but his hair is thinner, longer, and wavy, so i figured it would be even easier to trim than mine. plus it's easier to trim evenly when you can actually see the back without a mirror 🤣

little rant: i was showing my dad a video of a performance that i did and instead of focusing on watching the performance, halfway through he started talking about a past performance that i did that he didn't like (i had to do it so i can graduate next year) and now im mad instead of proud of myself

most of my notebooks/journals have themes. i actually wrote in a couple of them last week (because i felt bad about wasting them)
also i got two new notebooks 😭 i need an intervention

Currently reading Black Power by Kwame Ture (formerly known as Stokely Carmichael) and Charles V. Hamilton.
So far (I'm only on Chapter 4), I think it's really useful and I definitely recommend it.
