There's a whole world on bsky mostly focused on niche interests and fandoms that is just like this and sometimes it meets the more stable part and this happens
Bsky is the better site because fewer Nazis but it's impressive that the community here can be more annoying than Twitter

I might be entirely off base but I'm starting to wonder if part of this wasn't enabled by America never teaching or reflecting on its role in violent LatAm regime change, so there's been an existing permission structure that wasn't patched up because we tried to pretend it never happened

Fundamentally don't understand why Dems give up when they can't pass something they know is needed. You don't stop talking about it, you focus on why it couldn't pass and continue doing everything in your power to keep the fight alive
