My parents, not exactly super woke, instinctively understood that my pre-transition self was still a girl and speak of it accordingly. They got it, but it seems too difficult for 'hyper genius' John Carmack to grasp.
I just learned that John Carmack misgendered and deadnamed Rebecca Heineman in his "tribute" over on Twitter. He probably thinks it's okay when talking pre-transition days, but FYI, most trans people hate that. Worse, he never calls her "she," switching to "they" for recent memories. Fuck that guy.

One of the biggest mistakes I've done in recent years was to up my HRT doses a lot more gradually than my endocrinologist told me to just to make it easier for my partner
not only it didn't work but it also made it a lot harder to me

I feel we just should just not have any sort of conversation about possible ethical ways to use GenAI while the ongoing corpo push to use it in the most anti-artist, anti-human way is still a thing.
