What helps this of course is, well, reading more. Read the kind of comics you want to make. Read the kind of comics that people you love like to read. Be open to criticism. Let people you trust see what you’re making. If you’re afraid of their opinion, what will you do when strangers torch you?

I want to create more comics. I love it. I don’t have much success with it, but I love it. One problem I’ve run into is trying to find a target audience and an appropriate maturity level. Imagine my horror when my very first blood and guts comic was handed to a child in line at comic con in 2013
