Also, it's this Black woman who works at the whole foods named Barbara. She's this short dark skinned heavy set woman with a low and hearty raspy voice. Of course since I'm in New Orleans she calls everybody 'my love' and 'baby'. Such a very specific traditional flavor of Black woman. Iykyk

They was almost out of frozen peaches at whole foods. Had zero at trader Joe's. But i got enough for my pan of peach cobbler.

They granted us privileges and permissions, not rights. Privileges and permissions can always be revoked at any time.
Black people had to fight in the courts for a century after slavery to get our basic rights in America. White people simply decided “DEI is racist” and with a snap of a finger all the equity programs are gone. Nobody had to go to court,nobody had to prove disparate impact… just vibes.
