I mean.. A) i suspect that's not something the majority would agree with so the actual effect is low and B) while not a fascist, he was no Saint with the arms deals and support of other regimes.

I feel that's one fringe voice being elevated beyond it's actual wider acceptance.

Could you give a concrete examples of this please? I'd be interested in hearing of a documented case of someone being called a fascist who isn't extolling a fascist view at the time?

If all the files are lost by the destruction of a single server or server cluster, then it's not really "the cloud" is it? It's pretty much as far away from "the cloud" as you can get... And veers dangerously into "the remote server" territory.

Oh I agree. It would be ride to put a red packet in a bag of chips. I think I was reply mostly to the people saying "giving people money in small red packets is a thing?!?" As if THAT'S the smoking gun.

I 100% agree this feels bribe-y but with (in her culture) the easy excuse of "oh it's just a red packet" which, as we've seen, appears unknow to most westeners.

I dated a Chinese girl and would get slipped these at Chinese new years. Usually hidden as it's "gauche" to give them demonstrably.

I'm glad someone else noted that while giving of red packets IS cultural this is really unusual as it's

* not around chinese new year

* usually given by aunties to nephews and nieces or grandchildren.

Even keeping it hidden isn't unsual.

It's just the wrong time of year and relationship.
