Uh, yah. As non-physician occasional patient I can attest that nobody has every diagnostic test under the sun every six months just for kicks. Also, I've asked fellow patients and not a one reports having ever been told their labs were exceptional.

I dunno. My hubby is 73 and in great shape -- really! -- but he generally has to go back every six months for one thing or another. Although "one thing" is the operative, as in "let's check this or that again in six months," not as in "let's run every diagnostic test under the sun" every six months.

Probably. Also, I hope people are realizing that cutting a job means cutting your own services, not saving money by getting rid of a freeloader. Iow, reporters could help people understand that cutting fedl jobs is taking taxpayer $ for as service and then not providing that service.
