Master Replicas stopped making these after Lucasfilm sold Star Wars to Disney, and the IP went straight to Hasbro. Build quality was not great for a while, but now their Black Series is impressive. This saber makes...24? 25? in the collection.

I found a 2003 Master Replicas Darth Vader ANH Force Fx Lightsaber at a local thrift store for $9. It had exploded batteries / corrosion all over the inside.

after some vinegar and a wire brush, it ignites again. Speaker is blown, but that's ok.

2nd interview tomorrow for a contract (no benefits or PTO) telecom engineer for a local hospital chain.

This is exactly the job I didn't want anymore. the only reason I'm entertaining it is that it pays overtime after 40 hrs / week.

If I've had that consistently, i could retire right now.
