Just back from watching Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg Bop at the Arts Club, Liverpool.

No pictures because I was too busy enjoying the machine gun delivery of punk hits, one after the other! #punksky

This is my new album.

It's instrumental, apart from some crowd chanting on Your Gold, Mr Bridger.

The average tune length is two minutes and eight seconds.

There are fourteen tunes.

It sounds like old telly music.

It's ace.

I'd love it if you listened.

I've love it even more if you shared it.

I love this observation from William L Weir’s excellent book on the Radiophonic Workshop. A perfect demonstration of the subliminal effect of the ‘small things’. Weir goes on to explain how the Workshop harnessed this effect. Strong parallels with Perec’s idea of the ‘infra-ordinary’.

There's also the fact that the Caesers made sure there was subsidised food for the people of Rome to alleviate the threat of revolts and riots. So some sort of state welfare did exist, you utter barmpot.

Known for fruity, funky, expressive beers. But their stouts? Big, bold & unfairly delicious.

To my fellow Gen X men being radicalised by the far right… we’ve lived our entire lives - with a debatable exception of the Blair/Brown years - under increasingly right-wing governments who increasingly give less of a shit us all.

THIS is the problem. Not some poor refugees in a Travelodge.
