The shot itself was a test of Jigglypuff's reactions and her nerves and how she would come to handle the situation! She wanted to test the pokemon and make sure that she was ready from the get go! After this, the true fight started!

She would raise the arm cannon immediately and fire in Jigglypuff's general direction without bothering to aim her shot properly, a wild charge of plasma whisping out of the cannon and flying in her direction. It was off and would miss her if she stood completely still, passing her by her left side.

- Her military training still stands strong, and more than that, she's going to be quicker on her feet and more agile. Of course, someone that might get her to this point might just have the win anyway. But if they underestimate her completely, they might just fall for a final trump card.

4. Depleting the Power Suit energy won't always mean defeat for the Bounty Hunter. The Armour itself will vanish and leave her unprotected, but that doesn't mean that Samus is completely useless while out of her armour. She might not hold as much power, but she is still a literal super soldier.-

3. Most of the time, Samus will be encountered wearing her Power Suit (Dread as it is the latest, unless stated otherwise). This is because she has grown cautious and suspicious of places and people she does not know. And while it might make others wary of her, she prefers that to someone being --

--it making him one of the beings she trusts the most, and is most comfortable around. She likes animals too, so that helps.

2. She has come to built a bond close to that of a trainer to their pokemon with Pikachu [ @volt-tackle.bsky.social ]. Except she does not adopt him in such a way, nor does she own a poke-ball she would put him in.

It is a simple matter of the bond she's come to build with the pokemon. And with--

Conversely, those that have managed to get around this part of her will find her to be a warm and kind individual, willing to put quite a bit on the line for those she cares about. She might even let you see her smile and laugh.

1. With those she is unfamiliar with, Samus will remain closed off and sometimes seem standoff-ish. She will have this aura about here that sort of tells anyone to stay away. But it is as a result of her work, and the fact that usually people and things she cares for have ended up in ashes.
