I have friends still playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, and it's tough because I need to wait to gush about the script. The script is very clearly revised from other versions of the game, and I don't think it's mentioned enough.

I'm just gonna be practicing Chrono Trigger offline today and tomorrow. I'm so used to not naming any characters that I need to just play through the game with some name changes. xD

Submitted Chrono Trigger to RRLAT 9, fingers crossed the category I worked on a lot gets in. I'm very passionate about this silly category and this is one of the few places I'd submit it to. :3

Chrono Trigger is a well-known and respected retro RPG, yet it is not common for there to be speedruns of the DS version of the game. The DS version of the game introduced three bonus areas to the game, and also patched out most useful glitches that existed in the original SNES version. In addition, the DS version saves the game's current RNG, and thus, this run will not showcase any prolonged RNG manipulation. Nonetheless, a speedrun of this game is rewarding due to its unique mechanics."
Then, the category name and description are listed below:
"100% All Bosses (Single run) - 07:55:00
There are two goals: I need to complete every quest given at the End of Time (historically, this is called 100%), and complete the bosses list in the game's bestiary. This means that I must play two DS bonus areas and I'm forced to play without Magus, who'd streamline the run after recruiting him."

This is going around again and it is not true. Like every site on the internet, Bluesky uses machine learning to do a first-pass approximation of image classification to detect and label content. They have repeatedly confirmed outside services do not use Bluesky user data to train their models.

I do really enjoy how tactician difficulty has been in FFT: The Ivalice Chronicles. It's for sure harder but I don't believe it is unreasonable in the slightest, especially if you've played the game a considerable amount before.
