My favorite day last year was spent listening to MBMBAM naming of 2025 with her (both times) before we knew she would be gone. This year, I plan to listen while taking him on a long walk. May we all find moments of comfort this year despite the looming darkness.

Going to bed listening to the Auld Lang Syne episode of TAR on vinyl, a new years tradition of mine.

I think my most medium take about the social internet is that no sponsored post/ad should be permitted to have a locked comment section.
I also think they shouldn’t have hyperlinks embedded in places that are easily accidentally pressed (ie. In a slideshow that you must touch to scroll past).

I’ve been putting off finding and plugging in an Ethernet cable for about a year now. I finally just did it last night and my 60+ gigabyte video game downloaded in a few minutes instead of a few hours and like why am I like this

My heart is like three months behind my head because I know that Christmas is this week, but I’m still waiting for Halloween and Fall colors and the smell of cider in the crisp morning air. The trees are bare, but my heart doesn’t know it. The winter chill seems more like an early frost.

Went to the tea shop today and ordered a very good drink. The barista said I ordered his favorite drink exactly the way he takes it. And I think I won at ordering tea? Which is normal to want and (evidently) possible to achieve. 😀
