through a steamy #window,
I doodle little stick men on
the glass, little people, that look
like they are standing in the snow.
Suddenly, they start a snowball fight.
I watch them surprised & amused, until
one of them hits me with an ice ball
& I angrily erase them.

I jumped almost a foot last night
And had to cross myself
When I found, reaching for a book
A #creature on the #shelf.
I now regret the way I screamed
And swore, and startled it…
The creature seems to be quite tame
