Heart of the Forest 🍂 #art #myart #commissions
An illustration of a forest spirit in the middle of a body of water, the forest on fire around it. Deer-like, with leafy entwining antlers, its eyes glow against the black flowing void of its face and tail that trails in the wind, transforming into flame. Smoke billows in front and in the distance, the creature’s reflection a shadowy distortion. Surrounded and engulfed in flames, the forest spirit stands with a silent calm amidst the burning destruction of its home.

I agree, they're kind of meh usually, and make platforming less interesting in my opinion. The only game I've LOVED a double jump in is Titanfall 2.

Mario does "mid-air" moves very well, the spin from Galaxy, air dive from 64, Cappy throw in Odyssey, intricate and fun versions of mid-air movement

Time to move in and put some art on the walls baybeeee

Fell down a DEEP Ace Attorney hole last year and played through most of the games, which led to drawing a bunch of the AA characters as if they were practicing law in the year 1990:
An illustration of Franziska von Karma from the Ace Attorney video game franchise, styled to look like the fashion of the late 80's/early 90's. She's wearing a shoulder-padded version of her jacket, a mini skirt, and slouch booties. Her hair is cropped short. She's pissed, looking off-screen, whip at the ready. An illustration of Klavier Gavin and Apollo Justice from the Ace Attorney video game franchise, styled to look like the fashion of the late 80's/early 90's. Klavier's dressed as a hair metal-esque rocker, with ripped jeans and a cropped lace up leather shirt, and the eyeshadow to match. Apollo's wearing a slightly more tailored version of his usual outfit, just cut to fit the baggy throw back suits of the time. Apollo's clearly about to use his Chords of Steel on someone, and Klavier's just hear to watch it happen. An illustration of Mia Fey from the Ace Attorney video game franchise, styled to look like the fashion of the late 80's/early 90's. She's wearing a shoulder-padded version of her jacket over a mini skirt, décolletage on FULL display. Absolute gazongas. An illustration of Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney video game franchise, styled to look like the fashion of the late 80's/early 90's. Both are wearing the slouchy throwback suits of the time, think flowing Armani fashion spreads. Miles is wearing his dad's trench coat to finish the look.
