Some really weird "it absolutely wasn't the playing in the football game without a helmet that fractured the player's skull, it was the unfortunate ensuing collision with an opposing player"-type discourse happening around this morning's Olympic injury.

Interesting. Kirk Cousins will be a starter in 2026, is my guess. Reunion with Minnesota? 👀 Jets?
‼️‼️‼️ BREAKING NEWS ‼️‼️‼️

Kirk Cousins is expected to be released by the Falcons before the start of the new league year.

Per Adam Schefter.

Many of y'all: we made it. Today is the first day of the Olympics. Something beautiful is back in my life. I am going to laugh, cry and cheer.

Not sure if others are also experiencing this, but the horrific nature of the outside world has amplified/magnified my feelings of depression when trivial things of perceived goodness/wholesomeness turn out to be... not.

I say that to say, it's dumb but I am taking the Giannis heel turn very badly.

"The Rights and Responsibilities of US Citizenship."

For far too long, far too many Americans have been focusing on the Rights and forgetting about the Responsibilities.

Damn, I guess the voters decided throwing 46 touchdowns and 4,700 yards in the best division in football was pretty OK.

Cross Golden State off the Giannis List.
BREAKING: The Golden State Warriors are trading Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield to the Atlanta Hawks for Kristaps Porzingis, sources tell ESPN.

I am not an Eagles fan, nor am I a former NFL player.

But my god, it's impossible to watch that NFC East Hard Knocks season and not come away from it going "man, I would not enjoy having to listen to that guy every. damn. day."
It sure seems like folks have grown tired of working for Nick Sirianni, does it not?

Remove the word "Texas" and this is the most evergreen of headlines.
Texas Democrats rejoiced Saturday after they flipped a state Senate seat, hailing it as a burst of momentum for the midterms in the historically red state.

But they received a stark reminder of their own divides days later.
Texas Democrats taste victory, then turn on each other
Days after their win in a state Senate race, reports of a racially charged comment roil the U.S. Senate primary contest.

Always follow Tommy for innovative outside-the-box thinking.

Related, less-original thought: I think this can be applied to rookie evals as well. Burden put great stuff on tape but had a poor last season in college. Landing spot matters (O. Gordon), but could Singleton have similar value this year?
One of the biggest edges in modern dynasty game theory is an ability to ignore a good chunk of what happened last year and to apply larger historical context. We've tipped too far into a reactionary mode to the latest outputs. Let the trends come to you, don't chase them.

Dem leadership: changing this is a difficult process, you fool. You rube. You utter infant. Give us between $5 and $50

Nah I'm going to remember the $10 billion Trump is trying to steal for the IRS, and the massive amount of reported and unreported graft, embezzlement and corruption that has lined his pockets.

@fakefootballs.bsky.social how are you valuing Jaxson Dart right now? He's QB3 for me on a SF roster that lacks depth at other positions and I'm toying (struggling?) with an offer of early '27 first + BTJ for Dart.

I don't have much to say about the latest files dropping - just deep, overwhelming shame and disappointment that so many knew for so long and... did nothing. Did nothing, because the rich protect the rich. Did nothing, because they were afraid. Did nothing, because they wanted to personally benefit.
