I can already see the narratives forming and let me just get ahead of it - Darnold had a nice run, couple passes and did some great shuffling in the pocket.... during a dud of a game. So many passes were late and behind receivers. 38 attempts to crack 200. Sometimes, no major fuck-ups is enough.

That was the best Super Bowl halftime show I've ever seen and I'm not even trying to make a political point. Holy choreography.

Hi, haters.
Weird, Kenny Walker seemed pretty good in the red zone (and everywhere else) tonight but the last time I commented on how, uhh, *odd* it is that the Hawks refuse to give K9 touchdown touches, a beat writer told me "Macdonald doesn't care about your fantasy team."

Interesting.

SB prediction - Hawks win comfortably and it's a low-scoring affair. Show me SEA 26, Pats 13.

“We cannot just abolish ICE!”

Bestie, you are older than ICE.

Some really weird "it absolutely wasn't the playing in the football game without a helmet that fractured the player's skull, it was the unfortunate ensuing collision with an opposing player"-type discourse happening around this morning's Olympic injury.

Interesting. Kirk Cousins will be a starter in 2026, is my guess. Reunion with Minnesota? 👀 Jets?
‼️‼️‼️ BREAKING NEWS ‼️‼️‼️

Kirk Cousins is expected to be released by the Falcons before the start of the new league year.

Per Adam Schefter.

Many of y'all: we made it. Today is the first day of the Olympics. Something beautiful is back in my life. I am going to laugh, cry and cheer.

Not sure if others are also experiencing this, but the horrific nature of the outside world has amplified/magnified my feelings of depression when trivial things of perceived goodness/wholesomeness turn out to be... not.

I say that to say, it's dumb but I am taking the Giannis heel turn very badly.

"The Rights and Responsibilities of US Citizenship."

For far too long, far too many Americans have been focusing on the Rights and forgetting about the Responsibilities.

Damn, I guess the voters decided throwing 46 touchdowns and 4,700 yards in the best division in football was pretty OK.

I am not an Eagles fan, nor am I a former NFL player.

But my god, it's impossible to watch that NFC East Hard Knocks season and not come away from it going "man, I would not enjoy having to listen to that guy every. damn. day."
It sure seems like folks have grown tired of working for Nick Sirianni, does it not?
