We went to Art Source in the RDS today, the annual fair of contemporary artist in Ireland. Every year, I keep out an eye for the reception of medieval Irish cultural heritage by contemporary artists. This year, the first prize undisputedly goes to Ken Bolger (Ballyferriter) www.sleepinggiant.ie.
