The ones I remember that were IP blocked were Maplestory and Kart Rider! And also Mabinogi which became our main game for so long

I lived in the Philippines and a lot of MMOs were US IP Address only at the time

We discovered on some forum that installing and connecting to AOL would change our IP Address to an American one, which opened the flood gates to a lot of me and my cousins' childhood memories gaming together 💕

More people are finally playing the game that's been so influential to me growing up, so much so that I took on a supporting character's name as my own online handle a long time ago
