Finished the full interview, I definitely have a more interesting understanding of how this all turned out, but I do think that the whole thing maybe exonerates him a little better than this clip.

I can't stop watching this video. He's one of the most progressive liberals in a position of his level of power, and he gets so many things wrong/right for the entire runtime. What a roller coaster, my god. It has been FASCINATING watching the American Empire fall apart, it's been real, y'all!!!
