Build 24 is now out! This fixes the share url to use the new checkin detail page url format.
screenshot of the Anchor app showing the sharing screen after checking in.

yeah both work, but with the did in there it get's so long... you're right though it might be a bit too common to change your handle on here..
tijs.org
ok thanks, will fix that! the url changed recently. open graph data is back for the checkin detail pages.
tijs.org
the url is missing the handle I the path.. this is the correct url: dropanchor.app/checkin/bman... but yeah also not the og:image is this the share url from the app? maybe that's not correct. will look into the image, thanks for testing!

Aha! Very confusing abbreviation in this context 😅

I’m on a self hosted pds. Should not matter but maybe the handle detection can timeout or something
tijs.org
Yeah exactly, but maybe I’m misunderstanding the type of thread she means. Or it was a joke?
tijs.org
Hey that’s weird? I’ve seen this happen to others. Like the parser just bugs out sometimes..

Like this? bsky.app/profile/amyh... aren’t those pretty standard on any network with reposts?

Just added more book data scraping to BookHive!

Much more info added, longer book descriptions, author bios, publication details & even genres.

Here is a before & after:
Before: basic metadata, title, short description, ratings (as stars), author After: title, author, ratings as stars, full description, genres, publishing details, author details and bio

Yup pure self interest, for me. I just can’t be bothered with all that JS ecosystem nonsense anymore. I just need some TS for web stuff and deno always works and it’s the only tool needed. Makes it so much less painful

So you might know my work, to support me doing that I need about €60-70k per year.

Year to date, I've received €17,150 in financial support from the community, and €11,400 from NLNet grants. So a total of €28,550.

Add in whatever freelance work I've been able to pick up and it maybe bumps to €36k

She mentioned NL seemed very suitable to her for developing our own stuff, from her short pre research before coming here, but we sadly did not have time to dive deeper into why she thought that was the case.

Fortunate to be able to attend a talk by @karenhao.bsky.social today hosted by my employer. Not sure I’m quite ready to shed all my AI toys just yet but food for thought. The least controversial take away for me is that we really need to be making our own AI research & tools in the EU.
Looking out at the podium from the audience with a big screen in the back showing a stylized portrait of Sam Altman. While in front sit Karen and her interviewer talking.

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:
www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employmen...
Post from Threads user rodneyowl: "Ireland has declared the Basic Income for Artists scheme permanent. This will be officially announced in tomorrow’s budget. Details to follow. Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."
