I was unemployed for a year, for context. I didn't have money to do anything; I was always stuck at home. a less understanding landlord would have evicted me months ago. and the constant job app denials...

I guess both are just bad for mental health, ultimately, lol. something something capitalism

oh, I understand that about stress, absolutely. with UBI or even retirement, yeah, I'd agree.

but even with financial support from family, plus UI, food stamps, etc, I was still financially struggling. I nearly maxed out credit cards just to keep getting groceries...
