You know what is really difficult for neurodivergent parents? Doing housework while trying to keep the neurospicy toddler occupied.

Think we're rocking it today @thefluffybat.bsky.social my darling! (We'll ignore the toddler meltdown in town this morning...)
Think I'm getting a little too much into character (if that's possible!) for my ranger, Landolf!

Working out combat strategies, maneuvers, favors we may need to call in, and politics we may need to do to support out direction forward.
Lays down in sleepy solidarity with you 😅
Hi! Yes…I’m a tiny tug boat trying to push the ship against the current and away from their inevitable course towards use…

I’m on the spectrum of ethically/legally/environmentally/theologically I can’t use any AI tool; even if it enables some wider inclusion and accessibility.
You know what? Aside from being low key exhausted all week…

It’s been a good week. Recording for DnD. Streamed. Led a days training. Great PDR meeting. Started to work on myself a little and started looking into therapy.

A good week.
Us to toddler in the car this morning: “Are you cute?”

After a small pause, they go:

“Not particularly”
Does this mean…Luke Wilson is just wandering around the halls looking for beer for his fraternity?!
Utterly smashing work day co-leading the Districts various leadership teams in Growth Planning.
It makes me think about what comes next…

Hades 3: Where we journey into different pantheons? One where the Old Gods face each form of the end times…
We’re hoping it’s a 24hr thing…or at most 48 hour! We’ll see what the morrow brings!

And if it is an adult illness…I have a supply of meds and soup to last a few weeks 😅
Child has had a temperature all day.

So a quiet weekend for us then. Grabbed snacks and meds.

Didn’t grab yoghurts though. Child dipped their bat wings into it by accident this morning.
Why yes! I am enjoying Hades 2...
I didn’t realise for ages that there was a minigame for them! Mainly because I just took Frinos with me every night!

(Still missing two hidden aspects of Noctural Arms…BUT I CAN CUSTOMISE THE FAMILIARS!!)
Yeah no the child has a low fever.

Being very cuddly and hot, but doesn’t want to be alone, so tightens cuddle.

All the while he said “Can you message (Child’s name) parent? Say i’m sorry I can’t go to their birthday tomorrow.”

Bless himmmmmm

Ooooo Ghost and Greta van Fleet! Both are on my go-to playlist for early morning trips to collect family from airports, or relaxing from being over-stimmed on work retreats!
Define your music taste with 8 artists! Difficult, I listen to so many artists, but I tried to focus on some true 'no skips' favourites:

- Ashnikko
- Ghost
- Rave the Reqviem
- The Amazing Devil
- Heilung
- Bellowhead
- Nomy
- Florence and the Machine

Update:
Child has raised temperature and was in bed asleep before 8pm. And I know the temperature is a things as he’s asleep on me.

They are 100% sick. Bless.
Nothing says "Plans change" like getting a phonecall asking to get your child from nursery because of a sickness bug!

More so when you arrive and workers are leaving because they are coming down with the sickness as well!
And for the opposites…
Peace: Helping others into the spotlight/Yes, And-ing
Charity: Enjoying/Making the time you can
Defender: Being Honest with rolls, being a *good* rules lawyer (Hey DM, did you remember Bane?)
Eternal Life: Post-Game check-ins, checking boundaries mid play.
War: Main Character Syndrome
Famine: Scheduling Conflicts
Conquest: Player who *never* rolls below a 15 (Dice Fudging)
Death: Disrespecting/Breaking Lines and Veils/Boundries

I'm going to be at MCM London!

Less than two weeks to go now folks~
I'm going to be at table N-19 and I'm sharing with the amazing @caitmayart.com! So, come see us both if you're there for some Critical Role and Dimension 20 yapping!

Here are some of my wares...
Went to the Primary School open morning today.

The staff were slightly shocked at my intense questioning around SEN support and inclusion policies…but in a good way!
The thing I love about our nursery is first sign of anything that might be a sickness or anything we’re called and asked to take the child home; with really good wellness policies! (IE: 48 hours of no sickness, 24 hours after last dose of meds and you’re allowed back…which isn’t the norm!)
Appreciate that!! 💜

They seem okay so far. It was very much more the “Let’s be cautious” than everything else, which I’m glad they think that way!!

The *joys* of small children 😅
