Mischief Toy Store in St. Paul has until Wednesday to turn over employment records to the Department of Homeland Security as part of a surprise audit launched Friday, just hours after one of the shop's owners criticized ICE agents during a television interview. bit.ly/4r5AFol

The power outages and freezing conditions in Ukraine right now are insane. Greenland news and war “coverage fatigue” not giving it the presence in headlines it deserves. The humanitarian impact is absolutely staggering.

One reason I am gloomy about Britain’s ability to rise to this geopolitical moment is the sheer parochialism and unseriousness of much of its media. The Times, which used to be a serious paper, does not have a single comment piece today on the gravest international crisis in 80 years

Qantas: “Your January Qantas Points balance, special offers and more”

Marketing email just arrived in my inbox. It is just horrific the nature and extent of this marketing trash. Seems a symptom of the corporate times we live in.

"women consistently perceive AI to be riskier than men. We identify two key drivers behind this gender gap: women’s higher general risk aversion and their greater exposure to AI-related risks"

Surely question is why men are embracing 'risky' and abusive tech - and how we encourage some skepticism.

Just a month ago the UK agreed to a deal in which the NHS has to pay £3bn a year more for US drugs.

The only thing we got was an agreement the UK would face no tariffs.

Today that deal has been broken by the USA.

The deal must be torn up and no money stolen from the NHS.

This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,

The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance

Iconic imo
