It probably has, to some degree. I know it's kinda doing that to my dad, though his dementia isn't nearly as progressed as my grandfather's (mom's dad)

I'm so upset about the situation. But honestly, I'm so glad he's not being a bother to the coffee shop. Even when he had his mind, he wasn't the most likeable person 😅

I really, really hope a room opens up soon before he gets hit by a car or wanders off to die of exposure...or get arrested for it.

3. Now, my biggest problem is with that word "often"
He's OFTEN absent from the facility for hours at a time without a single person being aware?! This is a man who can't find his way from the cafeteria to his room in a facility he's lived in for 8 years. AND HE'S CROSSING ROADS
