So much talk along the lines "on Bluesky we do this, but we don't do that". I think everyone is free to do their thing, so I wanted to share how I use this app.

56. Top 12 most unhinged songs in opera, graded after difficulty. A joy to behold, especially as I can’t fully grasp that people can actually produce sounds like these at all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyId...

It affected me very deeply as an adult, I can tell you.

What’s really interesting about these lists is to see at what age the world surrounding you start seeping in and affect you in a way that makes you think about things.
tobsonhelsinki.bsky.social
Ah, det är förstås en helt annan sak. Folk slåss inte om dem, som de gör när det gäller kantareller.
tobsonhelsinki.bsky.social
I’d love to see your list, truth be told.

He was a complicated figure in many ways, pretty divisive on home ground, but his murder was such a shock. Anything like it had been considered totally impossible in Sweden, the safest country in the world. We were deeply shaken afterwards.

Tape to tape recording and then CD:s were extremely exciting, as well as home computers, but I didn’t feel them to be events like that. In the 80’s, there was this expectation that tech should progress and fairly quickly, it should have impressed us more.

Thanks. Doing my best but this is a real beast. Not expecting improvement yet for at least a day or two.

I thought about including the AIDS crisis but growing up in the Swedish countryside, that was only ever background noise - something scary that happened elsewhere, it was awful but did not directly impact us. Chernobyl made us fearful of swimming and eating berries.

Annars hade du kanske bara hittat något annat spännande sammanhang och hakat på dem istället? Men skönt att det var rätt gäng ändå.

For a while, during spring 1986, it felt like the whole world was about to unravel. First the Palme murder, then Chernobyl. And then - surprisingly - the world just continued to spin anyway.

I drew a mental line for myself that childhood ends at 15, or there would have been far more to choose between.

Not feeling any better but thanks for asking.
Oh, you didn’t ask?
Is it because of posts like the one below?

It’s great, isn’t it? Gone through a few of her other videos too and she’s really good.
