Leavitt: The latter is true

Factcheck: true
Hegseth uses war crimes as opportunity to connect with patriotic voters the Democrats have been ignoring.

Some amazeballs stuff here. Brownback and Wolf arguing that Trump should heed MBS' request to intervene in Sudan to grease $1 billion Saudi investment in US to keep the CCP out of Riyadh. www.foxnews.com/opinion/trum...
Trump needs to help bring peace to Sudan because of what it means to the US
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman asks Trump to intervene in Sudan's devastating war that has killed 400,000 people and displaced 13 million civilians.

Today’s paper is chock full of stories about the erstwhile “small government” Republican Party using the power of the state to repress groups it doesn’t like.

Yet more evidence that American conservatives’ reaction to the CCP’s Wolf Warrior diplomacy was emulation rather than scorn.

Yeah. Trump is arguing that the fact that Americans die of illicitly imported narcotics constitutes an imminent threat that justifies authorized lethal military action. While arguing that an importer of the same should face no accountability.

They’re simultaneously arguing that soldiers have to follow all orders from the president, legal or not, but they get to ignore orders from a federal judge if they feel they’re not legal.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.

Juan Orlando Hernandez narco-trafficked the right way.

- Ezra Klein
WHOA. Trump says he will pardon Juan Orlando Hernandez, who once said that he wanted to “shove the drugs right up the noses of the gringos.” He had people killed as part of his narco-trafficking ring, which he at times operated directly out of his presidential office.

It’s not murder because it was an act of war.

But it’s also not a war crime because technically we are not at war.

Hesgeth can’t be held accountable because he’s Secretary of War, a position that doesn’t exist in law.
