Pinned
I think this is is the most important thing I can pin, so…

Very proud of my comrade, of his staff, and of myself and other volunteer leads I met through the campaign that helped secure a historic victory — providing moments of leadership like this before even taking office.
Know your rights. Protect your neighbors.

New York is — and always will be — a city for all immigrants.

There are many tactics Republicans can & may employ to try to depress voter turnout and intimidate voters. That said, voter turnout can also be depressed by people preemptively declaring the election is rigged. It takes effort to get to the polls, it doesn't help to tell people it's not worth it.

Meanwhile, Congress just voted to send another $3+ billion in military aid to Israel.

Against the views of the vast majority of our party, too many Democrats joined Republicans in continuing to fund a genocide.
New York City stands with Mahmoud Khalil — because he's a New Yorker too.

The Trump administration's continued attempt to jail and deport him for speaking out against the Israeli genocide is abhorrent and unconstitutional.

For too long, bosses and oligarchs have made billions by keeping workers under their boots.

This campaign is about saying no more.

Workers deserve it all.

The UAW will ensure that our member receives the full protection of all negotiated contract language safeguarding his job and his rights as a union member.

Workers should never be subjected to vulgar language or behavior by anyone—including the President of the United States.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN ANATOLIA, the tea scene. I’m not going to share the clip because you have had to watch the film to that point to really feel its weight. One of the most beautiful moments in all of cinema, it’s near religiously transcendent and humanely grounded at once.
This is a favorite question to ask. Favorite little moment of kindness in a movie? I'm thinking of Tim Blake Nelson leaving money on the sill after they steal a pie in O Brother.

It was incredible to see so many people come out to knock 1k+ doors and pack the room at 2 Astoria house parties this weekend!

It's an honor to manage the @dianaforqueens.com campaign and fight to maintain the People's Republic of Astoria. But we need your $$ by midnight to do it!
This weekend, so many wonderful neighbors showed up in the cold and rain to build our movement for a Queens we can afford.

In the last 2 days, we knocked 1k doors & raised over $10k! But with our first fundraising deadline at midnight, we can't stop now.

If we're honest, the loudest online scolds aren't organizing. People who are organizing are too tired to scold people online.
a lot of people are being radicalized by ICE this week so please remember that the most important thing when someone comes to any kind of radical politics is to immediately scold them for doing activism wrong as someone who has been doing it much longer
