Meanwhile Astarion is appointed to rule Baldur's Gate from Ancunin Palace - formerly known as Szarr Palace. Though he enjoys the power, at times he's is more interested in the steady stream of pretty men and women brought to his palace - few of whom return.
Veszryn rules the Forgotten Realms through fear and oppression, alongside his Queen Minthara. His subjects fear him - and rightly so. He's cruel, vindictive and only cares for himself and his Queen.

His armies spread out to conquer more worlds at the command of his trusty General Lae'zel.
After almost a year of not playing I finally wrapped up my evil playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3. My Drow Sorcerer Veszryn dominated the Netherbrain and became the Absolute. With the help of his beloved Minthara and his loyal companions Lae'zel and Astarion.

"Dancing With The Dead" just hit 20 million streams on Spotify - seems like you never stopped dancing with us! Who’s still spinning this one today?

You know the voice in the back of your head that says no one wants to read your book?

Drown it.
Burn it with fire.
Get a bat and start swinging.

Don't let it exist and lie to you. Destroy it and keep writing.

Keep. Writing.
…I may have just added Quarantine Thirteen to my book wishlist (narrator: he did)

Also I have to ask, who made the covers for the Inner Universe books?
The closer I get to finishing the first revision of “In the Heart of the Holy Sea”, the slower I get.

I tell myself I’ve other things to do. But reality is I gotta find people to give feedback once done and that kinda frightens me 🙃
Aww thank you 🥹

Yeah I agree the dragons are better in small doses. They’re a nice comic relief after tense moments, but if they show up too often I feel it might get annoying.
Finally hung the LEGO Sunflowers I built like 2-3 months ago on the wall. And got a new salon table to display the Colosseum, absolutely loving how it looks!! 🤩
Expanded my LEGO collection with the Endurance set and started building it today.

Every set I’m again impressed with the design techniques and how things come together.
Glad I could make your whole week (or year 😁)
The space dragons definitely were great! Their dialogue was really fun, with the randomness and comic relief sprinkled on top 😂
@nataliekelda.bsky.social has anyone ever told you they like your writing better than Tolkien?

I recently finished Outer Universe and found it more enjoyable to read than Fellowship of the Ring tbh 😄 (and a cool sequel to Inner Universe too!)
Anyhow, I somehow even got new followers during my absence? Which is honestly as awesome as it is unexpected, welcome all!

(I'll try not to disappear for a long time again)
So yeah, life has been... something while I was away 😅
Still not quite where I want to be, but still taking steps and doing so much better compared to a few months back. So figured I'd try to get back onto Bluesky (even when history teaches that I'm terrible at social media 🤣)
Hi there! It's been a while since I was last here lol. Let me summarize the past 2(ish) months:
- Got a new job
- Dealt with stuff that was bad for my mental health (which has improved a lot the last few weeks!)
- Got diagnosed with a mild form of autism

Everyone in Aaron's family except for him: that the religious doctrine and the societal rules that come with them will remain forever.
#FantasyIndiesApril #8

Not really. The only case I remember when I reread books, was a year or two ago when I reread all the Orphan X books that were out at the time in preparation for the newest that was coming out.
#FantasyIndiesApril #7

There’s livestock and birds and such in the world, but there’s few mentions of animals throughout the story.
Aww I'm sorry to hear that 😢
That is a bit terrifying indeed, I hope it'll never get that bad 🙏Glad you've found an alternative in audiobooks though!

The only home that is prominently featured is Aaron's home, which is a two story, upper-class Victorian style house.

The Victorian style also extends to the world, though not much is mentioned about it as the focus is on the social structures and differences.
I skip most of the songs too tbh. Think I read 2 or 3 of them across The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring. Gotta admit I've never tried an audiobook 🙈(I like my books physical 😁)
