I’m not a researcher, but I went through the slide deck and didn’t see anything that broke out the numbers into respondents and people that respondents know. I would want to know the former.

I’m not saying it isn’t a very concerning problem, but this doesn’t feel like good data.

OK, this is alarming and something to be alarmed about for sure. But there is a huge difference between doing something yourself and knowing someone who does it, and combining that into a single statistic is really misleading. It’ll be off by two or three orders of magnitude for most people.

Wonderful, that is the right attitude. What are you - what is ANYBODY - actually DOING about it, other than saying “wow, we really wish this wasn’t happening, isn’t it awful”? Are Chicago cops going to arrest ICE agents? Are they going to protect Chicago residents from illegal abduction?
