Anyways, I love writing sci-fi but it just so happens to attract the judgement of VERY biased specialists, while in my fantasy story people are overall more relaxed. It kinda scared me off from writing sci fi for a bit 😅

Agree w/whole thread! I think spiritual and multicultural views on queerness also apply to sci-fi settings, but from experience when I have a sci-fi setting vs a fantasy setting with queer main characters, I’ve had people (particularly from clinical or science) who are quick to pounce on the—
