At one point a pickup truck yelled get out of my town, and the majority of the folks chanted “Hoodsport Proud, this is our town”.

Bremerton has the historical luck that they never built a freeway thru town- SR-3 skirts the western edge of town, 4 miles from center city.
If the state decides to widen this freeway, more cars get crammed onto Bremerton’s narrow residential streets. Terrible for the city. Gotta be a better way.

Can we withhold our federal tax dollars? I mean individuals stop paying out of our pay checks?
I know eventually we’d have to pay or IRS would come knocking, but could we hold on paying as a protest? Would it matter?
