2025 video game thread! 🧵 (very late)

I started one of these a while ago but I completely abandoned it, so I’m trying again. I won’t go into too much detail for most games just to avoid making too many posts. I guess if you’re interested in my full thoughts on a particular game just ask.
For me its easily Clock Town, but I feel like that’s kind of cheating.

Y’all have GOT to stop uncritically sharing Stealth’s posts without checking your sources!

I can’t find a source for when and where Miyamoto supposedly said this or who translated it ANYWHERE and yet my timeline is flooded with takes on it.
Miyamoto did nothing to stand in the way of the storybook‘s inclusion
Distant planet? Is that a reference to the Pikmin stage from hit game Super Smash Bros. Brawl?
I agree with the theories that they’re either a J-Body or some piece of the Ares
I never realized this game was a platformer
Bad timeline, the RPG winner never gets to make a speech
I love the way Xenosaga 3 looks so much
Man finds out his worst enemy is himself, ends world

Did you know? It's part of the Pikmin lore.
This same exact thing happened to me when playing the Wii version last week
F-Zero TASes are so funny
I’m waiting until the bundle goes on sale for $60 on the eShop in 3 years.
I believe this text bug can also happen in the court room in Wonderland, with much less destructive effects. I think it just triggers when you open and close the journal.
I would assume NERD (Nintendo European Research & Development)
Metroid Prime Remastered (Replay)
-Completed on: September 27th

The Metroid Prime marathon begins. This game is obviously incredible, but I don’t love the bosses. They’re very damage spongy and repetitive toward the end of the game especially (I hate Omega Pirate). Still a great game though.
