Chicken Salad Chick has announced that children will receive free meals at their southwest Florida locations, with the Bradenton, Florida location making a post on Facebook to get the word out for those impacted by SNAP benefits not being sent out in November.

#Pinks
Post something random or you'll have an awful November

Seconded! Top tier thirst traps!
I fear that when the shooting starts, the clampdown and curtailment of rights under the guise of “protecting law and order from crazed lefties” won’t be far behind.

Any excuse for Trump and the cabal to cling desperately to power 🙄

Pet food is usually not covered by SNAP (depending on where you are), but needing to cover more groceries may take up what you would have spent on it. Many animal shelters have pet food pantries, so check your local if you're struggling to feed your pets.

SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.

Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:

* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages
It seems my work-bound tube was having a bit of a moment this morning!

I felt drained when I woke up, but then again I was lodging in a hotel

The chief executive officer of the USA is raising revenue through import duties without consulting the representatives of the people; exactly 250 years on from the start of the American Revolution.
Sing it, Alanis.
Lodging in London tonight.

It’s the little things, but this piece of “thank you for your loyalty [Insert Name Here]” did bring a smile to my face

Beth Rigby: "Keir Starmer has changed his top team more than I've had hot dinners."

In two years before Starmer we had 3 PMs, 4 Chancellors, 3 Foreign Secretaries, 5 Home Secretaries, 5 Education Secretaries, 5 Cabinet Secretaries, etc. - total 221 ministerial departures.

Maybe Beth is on a diet.

So you should really watch this. Just 2 minutes. But a window into the truly radical nature of the people Trump is nominating.

When pressed today, the nominee to be Ambassador to South Africa refuses to oppose reinstituting laws to prevent black people from voting in America.

right wing bigots have admitted

- the “trans women in bathrooms” issue

- the “trans women in sports” issue and

- the “trans kids getting surgery” issue

were all MADE UP TO TAKE OUR RIGHTS AWAY

are you paying attention?
I really need to practice that as I’m re-listening to My Dad Wrote a Porno, and I forgot how unhinged the early seasons were!

Desperately have to stop myself cackling in the supermarket or on the train to work

In the last 72 hours or so Donald Trump has:
• Demolished a large section of the White House
• Posted a video of himself dropping shit on the American people
• Demanded a $230 million payout from his own Department of Justice

Also the federal government is still shut down, but, y’know…
