Very much looking forward to presenting at this conference on Friday. I am presenting findings on the impact of ‘done to’ v ‘done with’ approaches to school leadership of professional learning in the Irish context. #speirgorm #edchatie

I confess I turned it off around one third of the way through which is quite unlike me tbh!

They all know what they are facing now going into the RTE debate, time to up their respective games!
trionac.bsky.social
It’s a little flat, the 2011 campaign was more dynamic.
trionac.bsky.social
It’s tough going so far. Don’t think I’ll be watching much more.
trionac.bsky.social
Lining this up for the commute tomorrow morning!
trionac.bsky.social
Yeah agree on the timing part, he is so young, the championships (and his recent injury according to himself) have been a huge learning curve!
trionac.bsky.social
Fantastic race by McPhillips, so close to a medal. So young, he has a bright future! #speirgorm

Massive achievement! Big race for Cian McPhillips in the 800m at 14:22 up next! 🇮🇪 #speirgorm

I mean here! You’ve given me food for thought this morning already!
trionac.bsky.social
I understand on both fronts, finding balance and living a valued life is a daily challenge when living with chronic conditions. But there is always the capacity to make a valued contribution in some way. I mean that as encouragement! Sometimes a small action can go a long way!
trionac.bsky.social
I fully agree with that, it’s difficult to condense it all into a post! I’ve studied and researched interculturalism too. I think the important point is looking at the qualities a person brings! Our languages are fundamental to our cultural identities. Inclusion across the social spectrum is vital.
trionac.bsky.social
Chat GPT us throwing up Pearse Doherty, Catherine Connolly or Rose Conway Walsh. No mention of a Poultry Party candidate switching to Sinn Féin as yet!
trionac.bsky.social
Fair enough on the legislative and advisory front, I still think the president has an important role in promoting our heritage and the Irish language is a key facet of that. Michael D wrote a lovely piece for Intouch this week as Gaeilge agus Béarla freisin.
trionac.bsky.social
A decent standard is required tho imo, if they are looking over legislation and promoting it on the local and international stage. And yes it can certainly be learned, that in itself can set an example of the possibilities.
trionac.bsky.social
Ok hadn’t heard that part, at this stage I’m thinking they may have built this up too much 😂
trionac.bsky.social
Saying here she is scheduled to be in Galway today so looking less likely. It would want to be someone good with all the suspense they are creating 🧐
trionac.bsky.social
Well that could go against her alright, who else could be a ‘game changer’?
trionac.bsky.social
Are we thinking Michelle O’ Neill, now that Jarlath Burns has been ruled out? 🤔 #speirgorm
