Mentioned a few days ago about the sad death of of the peerless Mark Tully, also mentioning a brilliant work of his "India's Route 66" broadcast a while back.

Found it in my MiniDisc back-catalogue, and am listening now, it's saddening to reflect that...

Yeah, I apologise in advance, I'm going to be getting some mileage out of that Goodwin picture.

The Wall Street Journal would need a "study" to tell their staff how to use a lavatory correctly.

Think 'OK!' magazine, but for the mentally impaired.
What's most amazing about this is the fact that the WSJ needed a “study” to figure it out.

Ooopsy!
Yesterday evening, Peter Mandelson told me "I've never owned property in Brazil and never will".

Then we discovered the Brazilian company he incorporated, "for the purpose of purchasing and selling real estate".

Thread:
NEW: Previously unreported Epstein emails show Peter Mandelson discussing a Panama-linked tax avoidance structure for a £750k Rio apartment - with Epstein as his "chief life adviser".

Sorted out some caching on my Koyaanisqatsi generator because Giphy just told me off for hammering their API. Took them 8 years to notice!

Mandelson is the hideous result of when you render down a Dominic Cummings, add a pinch of Jeremy Thorpe, mix in a little Neil Hamilton and then sprinkle on a mouldy garnish of John Profumo.

But, much, much worse.
Mandelson is, and always has been, as dodgy as dodgy can be.

Does anyone remember The Virtual Geographer's League that was in the basement of the Trocadero on Piccadilly Circus?

One of the best arcade setups (aside from the Crystal Rooms here in Bristol) I've ever frequented.

The 'Canals Of Mars' Pod-racing games were fabulous.

“On the face of it”

For fucks sake.

The slimy smear of ordure that is Mandelson is almost a textbook definition of Arrogance, Entitlement & Corruption.
The "coincidence" of Epstein's cash payments to Peter Mandelson's partner/husband in 2009/10 and the then industry secretary's lobbying within cabinet for a softer post-crash policy towards bankers looks on the face of it like outright corruption. Certainly demands police investigation.
