LOL, trauma. Corporations don't experience trauma. They just inflict it.

I just finished reading this book, and your History of Life and enjoyed them both very much. 📚 Learning about all those earlier extinctions helped transform the way I look at the world. In a good way.

AS AOC said, things can (and I believe will) change for the better, but they won't be going back to what 'used to be'. Too many bridges burned.

The system is rigged — and Trump wants to keep it that way because his own power depends on it.

What drives Trump is simple: he cares more about protecting the interests of those with power than those with none.

So when he and his regime lash out about Epstein, understand why.

Love something in your life the way Ontario loves underfunding education
Of the $6.4B announced for Ontario PSE yesterday, 45% or so was just taking $ out of SFA and handing it to institutions.

Another chunk of $, maybe as high as $3B (unclear) involved taking $ announced in '24 and '25 & putting it into the base out to 2029-30

Actual new $ over 2025-26 base? $0-2B.

Close elections are not the problem. The problem is a system where thousands of voters can be left without a voice because their party finished second.

In a proportional system, votes across Terrebonne would shape seats. No community’s voice would hinge on a single envelope.

Anyone currently involved in federal immigration enforcement, every officer, every bureaucrat, every lawyer, every judge, is a member of the most evil group of people this country has seen since Reconstruction. Darkness personified, every one. Doing this to children is beyond depraved.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.
