Why does this government find it so hard to tell Israel: you’re wrong, what you’re doing is illegal, and we are not going to let you get away with genocide.

I'm seeing Xmas ads already, so it must be time to share this again:

"If you see anybody advocating for Israel on the TV or radio. One of their repellent spokespeople, say. Then they will be lying, because that's what they do. They lie and they lie and they lie…"

Trial by jury is a cornerstone of our democracy and an essential safeguard against authoritarianism.

It is truly frightening that such a fundamental freedom is now under attack.

Once rights are lost, they are not easy to win back. We must resist this with all we’ve got.

Austerity 2.0. Attacks on disabled people. Arming genocide.

The Labour Party has turned a fundamental corner — and I don’t see it coming back.

So far I’ve only read the preface and introduction to Paul Holden’s The Fraud, but on nearly every page there are details that would be front-page news if we had an honest news media

The reason they’re not up in arms about having been duped is that they weren’t duped; they were in on it all along

The cynical dishonesty & corruption by Starmer’s right wing clique is absolutely jaw-dropping

The mainstream media enabled it & are now silent

Hopefully avocado toast will also be made more expensive 🥑🤞

Two children have been killed every day in Gaza since the so-called ceasefire began.

Why has this disappeared from the headlines?

The genocide never ended — and our government is still complicit.

End all arms sales to Israel, now.

The draft deal at #COP30 (at which 1600 fossil fuel lobbyists are in attendance) does not mention fossil fuels - the drilling, mining and burning of which, is the main driver of climate change

So even if people are accepted as refugees, so likely to have been through terrible trauma, they will have the threat of deportation hanging over them for decades

Children will be deported in later life to a country they don’t even remember

The lower tax threshold (the personal allowance) is £12,570

It would now be £16,200 if it had been increased in line with inflation

700k more poor households are paying tax as a result and millions more are paying higher tax

Freezing tax thresholds is a regressive tax increase
