Disney has hiked prices and laid off hundreds of workers this year.

Yet Disney paid its CEO $41B in 2024. It just reported a 36% increase in net profits for parks and streaming. And it plans to double stock buybacks next year.

Remember this as Disney turns to AI.

It is an insult to all women that this important report by the Ontario government was largely relegated to AI authorship, and full of falsehoods. This is unacceptable. Thank you to these MPPs who care enough to issue their own report on recommendations for ending Intimate Partner Violence.

Conspiracy theorist election denier given FEMA’s second-most important role
Gregg Phillips will lead the Office of Response and Recovery, “the heart of what FEMA does.”

bit unclear what happened here - did six craven cowards discard due process in orchestration with the mayor, or simply do what he wanted out of craven cowardice ?

neither looks great

Starke County, Indiana voted 75% for Trump in 2024.

But now they're opposing Trump's AI agenda, and the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend a 12 month pause on new hyperscale data centers.
