The value of a single tree. 🌳

Nature’s worth is often acknowledged only when it directly brings us comfort. But in truth, it does far more for humanity than many care to admit.
Why not retaliate? Don't send students to US universities. No need to buy grapes and oranges from US. Who needs iPhone, HP computers and Tesla? Isn't Coca-Cola for cleaning toilets? Anyways, these businesses fund genocide.
Where I am, the greedy timber companies and cronies of the political elites have turned the only remaining primary forests into so-called carbon credit projects. The very indigenous people living in and around the areas and protecting those forests for centuries, can no longer enter the forests.
It has been said by countless people that USA is built on the blood and sweat of the indigenous people and Africans. Now it's also built on the lives of tens of millions of innocent civilians in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria.
