Chornobyl disaster occurred in the early hours of April 26, 1986. Russia’s brazen attack on the $2 billion New Safe Confinement (the sarcophagus enclosing the destroyed reactor) in February 2025 poses a new potential radioactive danger as engineers race to repair the damage.

When asked about the Ukraine peace deal, Trump again tried to drive a wedge between Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people by falsely claiming the peace deal as it stands is loved by the Ukrainian people, but Zelenskyy had not read it.

How could the Ukrainians love a peace deal, they do not know yet?

Let me get this straight: EU deregulation favours American not European interests

When the US (and Musk) declare war on the DSA, they're rejecting the principle that the EU can govern its own digital space.

This should urgently lead the EU to reconsider deregulation cc @teresaribera.ec.europa.eu
