Thank you @mrjamesob.bsky.social for reading out that list of achievements Labour have introduced or are working on delivering.

It might have been 30 or so items long, but it was a short list.

You could make a list to fill a whole hour of your show if you included everything. There is so much.

There's a predictable approach to denial that we're already seeing, which I call the Four Pillars of Disordered Doubt, which allows actors to constantly question evidence that don't fit their preferred narratives.

The UK version of “Project 2025” by the Reform party includes a British ICE, a concentration camp for 24,000 people, mass surveillance and withdrawing from refugee, anti-torture and anti-trafficking conventions.

It’s on their website. That’s how comfortable fascists are in the UK today.

Please reshare the below post, unfortunately some accounts with lots of followers have reposted the false claim and loads of people are falling for it.
I'm seeing people mistakenly claim the gun photo was posted before today, but its just how Google sometimes dates images based on the original date of the thread its posted in, not when it was posted. The photo was posted an hour ago in this 5 day old thread

People are still acting like Russian apologists over the boat incident today...so I think it's important people read the UK Defence Secretary's statement he was able to make this evening in the House of Commons.

Key points:

There seems to be some *confusion*
among Reform supporters over Nathan Gill being one of them

“But, but, Reform didn’t exist when he took his Russian bribes”

“But, but he was in UKIP”

“But, but it has nothing to do with Farage, he barely knew the guy”

So here’s a little history lesson 👍🏼🧵

Farage: "All over the world, you apply for a work visa - that visa is for you. Not to bring your family... That is how a normal work visa works."

Entirely untrue.

Most work visas allow dependents, including in countries that the UK competes with for labour - US, Canada, Australia and 27 EU states.

Day in, day out, I speak to ordinary people who are organising to welcome the asylum seekers accommodated in their towns.

They befriend, support them, reach out to them as fellow human beings.

That's the Britain I know, the one I see around me & we never get told about on TV.

I have little doubt that this experience would be repeated across our country if only responsible media was interested in highlighting what communities are really like, rather than eagerly seeking out those stoking "tinderbox Britain".
I’ve mulled over posting this for months now. But yesterday it came to a head. And I’m aware that the people who need to see it will either not be here, or will suggest that I’m lying.

I live near an asylum hotel. The reason I didn’t post earlier is that I didn’t want to raise undue attention

Ordinary people "feel like mugs" for paying when others feel they can get away without doing so, says Robert Jenrick, who was found to have falsely claimed £122 in travel expenses, and used his own office to help a Conservative donor avoid paying £45m in tax www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/robert-jen...
Robert Jenrick's Honesty-Dodging
That someone as dishonest and hypocritical as the Shadow Justice Secretary was not long ago shamed out of public life is a damning indictment of the state of politics and media in the UK

I think what’s really important right now is that everyone on the left engage in bloodletting internecine warfare with anyone else on the left who is not exactly aligned with the perfect leftist position.

That should sort it.
