Spent the morning delivering meals to families that needed a lil extra help this year. And headed to a restaurant for dinner later.
Cooking was not in my ministry year. I just don’t got it. It’s a time of rest for me this year.

!!! To shoot the shit you have to have a sense of humor, a quick wit and a breadth of knowledge to draw on. These new folks have none of the kind. They don’t read and they lack curiosity about anything.

Been trying to fully transition over to Apple Music from Spotify this year (I need to only pay for 1). The final piece is my Google Home network.

And that’s okay! I think the work environment plays a big role too. I’m sure if I were in a more cu throat workplace I’d have to keep my head on a swivel and be more direct.

I wish I could do that. I’m professional but direct. I tried a softer approach and I find as a woman it doesn’t always go the way it should.

I don't want to tussle, but I want to have a convo about the very real importance of "Soft Skills" in the workplace. I am watching someone get zipped UP in an email because she continuously comes in hot for no reason. Sometimes she's right sometimes not but its all in how you communicate
