We publish here an important critique by leading Ukrainian democratic socialist Vitaliy Dudin of the ideas of the émigré sociologist Volodymyr Ischenko.  Many years ago Ischenko was a figure on the new left in Ukraine, since at least 2014, he has engaged in propagating narratives used by sections of the left hostile to Ukraine and actively undermining support for the resistance to Russian imperialism.

Ukrainian teachers face an unprecedented attack on their jobs and conditions. As parliament prepares to adopt the 2026 State Budget Law, proposals would abolish permanent contracts, increase workloads, cut pay and allowances, and undermine basic labour rights. These measures—condemned by Ukrainian unions—risk mass dismissals and a collapse in education quality for millions of children already traumatised by war. Why? It was clear that having pleaded guilty to eight charges of bribery he was going to be given a long prison sentence. I wanted to hear the evidence leading up to his arrest to get some idea of the extent of his treachery, to understand more about the extent of Russian interference in UK politics, undermining democratic processes and propagating pro-Putin propaganda.

Supporters of Ukraine Solidarity Campaign and Ukrainian organisations Vsesvit and Campaign for Ukraine demonstrated outside the Old Bailey (Central Criminal Court) in London today as Nathan Gill, former Reform UK leader in Wales, arrived for sentencing. In September, after months of investigations during which he insisted he was innocent, Gill finally pleaded guilty to eight counts of taking bribes in order to make propaganda for Russia's aggression in Ukraine as a Member of the European Parliament.

Report of Ukraine Solidarity Campaign Delegation to Ukraine On Thursday 6 November, a delegation from the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign arrived in Kharkiv having driven 2,000 miles to deliver three trucks along with clothing, sleeping bags, helmets, medical supplies and more to our comrades fighting on the frontlines to defend Ukraine. Trucks were delivered to members of the KVPU (Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine), including soldiers fighting on the eastern front and rescue workers.

The Free Trade Union of Medical Workers of Ukraine (affiliated to the Confederation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, KVPU), has sent the following statement of solidarity to striking resident doctors in the UK.
