had lunch with friends from the UK for lunch today. They brought me 3 bars of Cadbury chocolate.

3 bars that weighted 850g. They are intimidating :)

2.5kg of chocolate FTW

Part of my birthday present this year from wife & kid was a subscription to Hallmark+ as my guilty pleasure is cheesy rom-coms and christmas movies. So I think I need these :)

I think 1 of our cats (Bandit) has turned into a vampire.

He sleeps all day (and most of the night too. he's a cat!)

and he's started walking up me whenever i'm sitting or lying down until he is nose to nose with me then dives towards my neck trying to bite me

#RecipeOfTheDay is Bara Brith, that wonderful Welsh fruit-speckled tea bread, which I recommend eating so thickly spread with butter you can see your teeth marks in it when you take a bite (what the Danes refer to as tandsmør)! www.nigella.com/recipes/bara...

I have a particular fondness for Bara Brith, the traditional Welsh fruit-speckled tea bread. My late sister Thomasina lived and worked in Wales, and my first taste of it came courtesy of her next door...
