My biggest takeaway from #Taskmaster New Year Treat is that I would love to go for a coffee/pint/curry with Sam Ryder. Even when he’s ‘angry’ he’s adorable.

There were so many classic films I saw like this at Christmas. Easter too. There was also the late night films, especially on BBC2 and Channel 4… that was when you got the weirder comedy, drama and genre films. I used to fill a triple pack of 3/4 hr tapes in LP with films over the Christmas period.
I think it's a shame kids aren't exposed to boring old black and white films on TV at Christmas any more. If you're younger than me (an ancient man of the hills) BBC iPlayer currently has Bringing Up Baby, Some Like It Hot, Double Indemnity, The Third Man & Suspicion. All bangers!

As someone who hosts a podcast about "games that were special to us", I don't want to limit that to mostly Millennials (like me).
Gen Z is starting to get their own nostalgia for games that THEY grew up with. "Retro Gaming" is just the community adopted term, but what it encapsulates is evolving.
