These are the voyages...

This is a special commemorative (100,000 sold) model of a range of all-in-one computers manufactured by Sharp.

Feels particularly appropriate for a graphic of the Enterprise on its screen. Keyboard... How quaint..

played through Chex Quest last night and it's honestly adorable. i love seeing Doom reinterpreted in such a nonviolent way, especially considering the gameplay itself is almost completely unchanged. the Supercharge replaced with a Balanced Breakfast? that's just awesome.

Now I heard there was a tiny box
Engraved with names like Minecraft Notch
And Brian Fargo and FourZeroTwo, yeah
But though it promised games for free
And mobile ports on your TV

Share a 90’s movie you think deserves more love.

I watched King Ralph only recently and thought it was fairly underrated! John Goodman plays the stereotypical American doofus well enough, but Peter O’Toole inexplicably brings his A-game to this silly comedy and steals every scene.

"In a world gone mad, Rock 'n' Roll lives!"

AMVs via videotape! Hurricane Live 2032 (and its follow-up, Live 2033), released in 1988 in Japan and in the early to mid 90s elsewhere, clips together segments from Bubblegum Crisis to rockin' music and vocals from Kinuko Omori and the Knight Sabers.

There are 1500 rules in the scripts governing NPC behaviour in a mostly forgotten open-world Amiga/ST/DOS game called The Adventures of Robin Hood. All affected in real-time by 32 characteristics, what you're doing in the game, your reputation, and the changing of the seasons.
i was going through my X archives and found this by @superpodsaga.com, which I qrt'd at some point years ago

so, let me bring the question back: what is the most useless piece of video game knowledge you know?

European Sega Mega CD owners were unable to play The Lawnmower Man when it was released, because the discs were printed with the wrong region code. The publisher recalled the discs but never re-released a fixed version of the game. This makes the EU version one of the rarest games for the system.

I hope you’re all having a great Friday too!
