thanks google, great work. please read a book though.
me searching google for "words words words" and finding an assertion in the overview that it refers to Bo Burnham's album of that title, rather than Shakespeare's Hamlet

my 10th grade algebra teacher was not great, but one thing he did get across very clearly was - if you try hard and get it wrong, that's infinitely better than the comfortable "cool" of never trying and never risking failure. You gotta get good with failing if you wanna do anything worth doing.

There's a social media trend of people attempting to run marathons with zero training and a take that really resonated with me is doing this means that you never really fail. I think the AI people have a similar mentality. They want to be able to say they have done a thing without doing it

there’s this weird idea a lot of people seem to have about how all of us writers and artists must secretly want to use AI and are merely resisting temptation for ethical reasons, and like, no, it’s not hard for me to resist drinking the bowl of Piss With Glass In It actually

If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.

I watched this (link in the comments) a few months ago and I’m still delighted by it. Worth watching if you find Shakespeare “difficult” at times.

'Night and the City' by Chris Donlan remains one of the finest online articles on game urbanism ever. Somehow simultaneously personal, historical, and objective it is an excellent read, and a reminder that L.A. Noir remains truly unique.

In Final Fantasy Tactics if a unit gains too much faith they leave your party to go find God. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you had Beast Tongue and got a monster unit to maximum faith? Of course you haven't. No one has.

Fascinating story about a “ghost” concept car that was designed in 1939 but possibly/maybe/probably not actually built at the time, and only discovered when the sketches were found in a barn decades later.
