In case this is useful to anyone else, here’s my 30-post overview of building a stop motion puppet.

Alright I’ll try to make this concise but like I said, there are lots of ways to go about this. So, most professional stop motion productions hire a specialist machinist/armaturist to build the armatures (skeletons) for their puppets. This is a metal worker who looks at the concept art and (1/?)

I didn’t know these still existed. I get the sense (without having done a great deal of study about it) that this was the common purpose of dances (the dance hall variety) into about the 1950s. I once read something about valentine’s balls where guests would be randomly assigned a valentine

I am one such millennial. I hated it completely, but that was one of the places that taught this napkin rule I now can’t find anywhere.

This is going to be a very niche sort of question.

When I was a little girl, I was forced to take various etiquette courses. I was taught, across the board, that it is proper for a lady to fold the corner of her napkin when seated at the table. You see this also in Titanic, where Rose watches
