One Christmas I was in a very busy The Green pub in Mere Green when I heard someone behind me shouting "Give me me nuts!" I turned round and it was Roy Wood furious at the lack of cashews from the 20p a handful little vending machine.
I only meet famous Brummies at the pub.

Another shopper showed me the best cheap one. Said his mom loves it.

One Christmas me and another shopper at New Oscott Tesco were trying to find double cream and a young lad working there offered us two pots of single cream cos that makes double cream.
Side note: the other shopper was TV’s Emma Willis.

Good to see Omikron: The Nomad Soul is at the V+A. For the record (pun acknowledged), the video game did not beget the Hours album. The two projects ran parallel and leapfrogged, and David Bowie & I had started song writing together for Hours long before the game developers approached him/us. 🎵
A copy of the classic cyberpunk sci-fi computer game Omikron: The Nomad Soul is on display at the V&A David Bowie Centre, Stratford.
The soundtrack was written & performed by Bowie and Reeves Gabrels, whose guitar work helped shape the game’s dark, futuristic atmosphere, and lead to the Hours… LP.

I cannot recommend this movie enough if you're looking to honor the passing of Udo Kier. Trust me - you do not know where this movie is going until you get there. Such a great flick...
If you're looking for an Udo Kier film to watch, may I recommend BACURAU (2019), starts off like a worthy slice of sociopolitical realism and ends up as demented Brazilian neo-western exploitation. Don't read anything else, just see it. Contains one of my favourite film moments of the 21st century.
