yeah the wild misinformation going on in basically every article comment section, when accurate information is *right there*, is astounding
i am going completely insane watching gamers make up shit about horses and interrogating every single thing the devs have said for inconsistencies and then deciding well it probably had cp in it. this is the easy mode version of the kinds of censorship that are to come and you're failing like babies

Grew up playing video games and went down the Comp Sci path because I was too poor to afford the various 'tighten up the graphics on level 3' schools.
Then I worked on government software for a few years where I realized I hated working on forever software and pivoted to professional game dev.

Iji is well known for having a pacifist route but the majority of the mechanics were added long after the original release with stuff like non-lethal weapons. Prior to that change the way you played pacifist was via using friendly fire and damage boosting to get through stages.

another random rpg maker tip. if you're using visustella's standard turn battle, you can make items instant but only allow one/turn pretty easily. just make a state like the first image, make your items <STB Instant>, and throw this line into your battlecore settings (second image)
